Faculty Structure, Governance & Policies
The faculty of Grand View University consists of the instructional staff, professional librarians, and the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. All appointments to the faculty are made by the President of the University who serves as the chairperson of the faculty. Qualified faculty may teach in the undergraduate, graduate and College for Professional and Adult Learning (CPAL).

Members of the Grand View educational community regard the governance of the academic enterprise as a collaborative endeavor. The work of the University is conducted by the total faculty in monthly meetings, committees, by department and division leaders, and by members of the administration (Grand View University Mission Statement). In accordance with this philosophy, all faculty are members of departments, divisions and may serve on one of seven standing committees of the faculty or six special committees or councils that have been established.
