Academic Search Premier – A general purpose/multi-subject index used to search for articles in periodicals Approximately one half of the periodicals indexed are full text

CINAHL with full text, MEDLINE, Health and Wellness – Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, 190 full text and 205 indexed journals on general health, nutrition, and sports medicine, and medicine from 1975 to the present.

Education Journals – Indexes to journals in the area of Education

Business Journals – Indexes to journals in the area of Business, finance and accounting.

PsycARTICLES – Index including full text for PsycInfo.

PsycInfo – Index covering all areas of Psychology from 1886.

LearningExpress-Index to career and academic resources for job  preparation, college readiness,   and skills mastery in math, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.

GreenFILE – Indexes all aspects of human impact to the environment. It contains scholarly, government and general-interest titles, including topics on global warming, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.

Technical Career Collection – This collection provides full text coverage for 400 trade and industry related periodicals including, Pediatric Nursing, Wireless Week, Drug Store News, Video Business, Advertising Age, and many more. In addition to the full text, indexing and abstracts are provided for 650 journals.

OAIster – Index to academically based research, originated in major academic institutions

Directory of Open Access Journals: Index to free open access scholarly journals

Electronic Journals List – Listing of all the journals provided by the Grand View Library

Library/Information Sciences and Technology Abstracts – This database indexes more than 600 periodicals plus books, research reports, and proceedings. Subjects covered include librarianship, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management, and the information industry.

Encyclopedias, Dictionaries and Directories – Links to online dictionaries, encyclopedias, Internet directories. Included are the Encyclopedia Britannica, the Oxford English Dictionary, and Best Information on the Net.

Writing Aids – Useful information for writing papers. Links to the APA and MLA Style Manuals; sites on plagiarism; criteria for evaluating websites.

Law, Government, Census and Statistics – Links to government websites at local and national levels. Tax information, local and national legal codes, local ordinances, etc. Also included are links to the United States Census Bureau, Statistical Abstracts, almanacs, and the Iowa Census.
