Freshman Orientation

You’re a Grand View student now, so we encourage you to attend our Freshman Orientation. As a new student, you are bound to have some questions. Freshman Orientation is designed around you – answering your questions and providing you information about life on campus. You'll learn about your fall schedule of classes, financial aid, scholarships, housing options, meal plans, your major (even if you are still exploring options), clubs, tutoring, and more. Additionally, you will learn tips from students, faculty, and staff who will serve as your mentors and guides during your time at Grand View.

Fall 2017 Orientation

Prior to orientation, you'll need to select a Core Seminar. You can see your choices HERE. You will get one of your top three choices.

Check-in is from 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. in the Student Center at 2811 E. 14th Street (directions here). Parking is available near the building. The day ends at 4:15 p.m – click here to view a tentative schedule. At orientation, you'll:
