The Breakfast Club provides the Grand View graduate community with opportunities to mingle with other graduate students and to bring in professionals in the community to provide advice and create opportunities to these graduate students.

Campus Fellowship provides Christian fellowship for students at Grand View University. It is dedicated to providing opportunities for students to interact with other students of the same faith. Campus Fellowship is not related to Grand View's official student ministry or campus ministry, which serves students of all faiths.

Diversity Alliance organizes many different events to promote campus cooperation and understanding, including: bi-weekly meetings, cultural awareness projects, Multicultural Visit Day, leadership conferences, Martin Luther King, Jr., Day Program, campus speakers, campus newsletter, Ethnic Food Fair, and cultural sharing programs through volunteer work.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes)
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The mission of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes is “to present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.”

FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students)
Fellowship of Catholic University Students, henceforth referred to as FOCUS. The purpose of this organization shall be to foster knowledge of biblical Christianity, Jesus Christ, and the Roman Catholic Church among students at Grand View University. FOCUS is a national outreach to college campuses. Through small group Bible studies, large group leadership training, and one-on-one mentoring, FOCUS offers the fullness of life in the Catholic Church to all college students, and equips them with the knowledge and tools to help them share this good news with their friends.

Grand View Council on International Relations (GCIR)
GCIR provides international students with orientation, mentorship, and transitional processes at Grand View University. GCIR promotes international understanding and relations at Grand View University and the community at large. GCIR embraces and fosters global culture at the university and promotes international exchange and/or study abroad programs.

GV Dance Marathon
GV Dance Marathon fundraises money for Children’s Miracle Network and plans a large event each year that focuses on helping kids and their families when they are suffering from illnesses.

Students who have a passion for ministry can find an outlet for their gifts through Grand View Student Ministries (GVSM). GVSM both supports and connects students with ministry and service opportunities both on and off campus. The core team also provides valuable guidance for students hoping to launch new ministries and support to those continuing existing ones. GVSM is committed to prayerfully identifying and purposefully seeking to better meet needs both on campus and in our local community – for the sake of the gospel. We welcome people at all stages of faith – the searcher, the doubter, and the committed.

GV United is committed to serving Grand View University by creating connections between students, alumni and corporate supporters. Student members of GV United have unique opportunities to serve, lead, and represent GV both on campus and at alumni events. If selected to be a member, involvement is essential and extremely rewarding. Involvement on the GV United team develops effective and responsible leadership skills through contact and experience in university projects and programs, thereby enhancing the education of the student team members and preparing them to serve as future alumni leaders.

People Respecting Individual Differences Everywhere. Provides students with an engaging and safe learning atmosphere. We seek to educate students and faculty about what it means to be gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. We hold a nonjudgmental view of one’s sexual orientation. We want to serve the community at large as well as our school community. We celebrate and support each other individually. We seek to teach acceptance so that the future generations will not be afraid to speak out about or live their sexual orientation.

Residence Hall Association members are active in hall government, which speaks to policies and matters of concern to all residents. Committees, programs, and events are planned to enrich the residential experience and to provide an environment which supports the total educational and student development process on campus.

SAC is funded by and reports to the Viking Council. The board develops and schedules campus-wide programs and activities throughout the school year to meet the diverse needs of the student population.

Student Leadership Team
This group provides input and planning for leadership activities, and enthusiastically promotes leadership and development on campus. Members help facilitate communication among student leaders as a whole, promote a healthy student leader community, and have a desire to train and mentor potential student leaders.

Team GV is an influential and select group on campus. As representatives of Grand View, Admissions Ambassadors provide assistance, meet and converse with prospective students and families and conduct campus tours on Action Days, Viking Visit Days, Scholarship Days, registrations and orientations that take place during the school year. In addition, Admissions Ambassadors act as tour guides for daily individual campus visits and occasionally perform other office-related duties for the Admissions Office.

Viking Brigade supports Grand View athletic teams throughout the school year. Students gather for sporting events to cheer on the Vikings to victory. Membership is open to all Grand View University students. The Viking Brigade is always looking for more members to fill the stands and become leaders in creating spirit at athletic events.

Assists the Student Life Office as student representatives for Grand View. Responsibilities include developing and implementing orientation programs, giving campus tours to prospective students and campus visitors, performing office work and telephoning prospective students to share with them opportunities available at Grand View. View Crew members are selected each year based on their communication skills, enthusiasm for Grand View, and responsibility.

Viking Council is the Grand View University student government. The Council is composed of officers elected by the student body and a representative group of student senators. Viking Council is responsible for expenditure of student activity fees. The Council does this by providing programming and activities for all students with consideration for educational, social, cultural, and recreational aspects of student life .
