The Career Center provides a variety of services and resources to current students and alumni. Many services are available on this site. We encourage you to review the online job listings for campus positions, internships, part-time and seasonal jobs that may interest you while you’re in school, and full-time positions appropriate for graduating seniors and alumni; click on Job Listings at the left. For Career Center News and Events, such as career fairs, scroll to the bottom of your screen. If you are an employer, please click on Employers Home at the left of your screen.
Internship support services, career assessment and planning, graduate school planning and other career-related services – such as employer information, job interview schedules and resume critiquing -- are available to all Grand View students and alumni. The Career Center, staffed by career counseling professionals, is full of printed informational resources and also offers online access to several databases and Web services:
DISCOVER® This comprehensive career planning program from ACT provides guidance and information to help people make important career and educational decisions. DISCOVER's comprehensive, developmental guidance process helps users identify their strengths and needs, make good career decisions, and build a plan based on their personal profiles. Among many other tools, the system offers complete, current databases of occupations, college majors, schools and training institutions, financial aid/scholarships, and military options.
To use these tools, please contact the Career Center for a login and password, then enter the tool you select by clicking on the button to the left of your screen.
