Job Description:: Facility: Loving Arms Children’s Center Location: Johnston, Iowa Job Title: Professional Childcare Associate Job Status: Non-exempt Position Description: The Professional Childcare Associate will have a minimum of two years experience working in a professional childcare environment. Candidates must be willing to work with children 6 weeks through twelve years of age. Childcare Associates will teach Christian education, values and principles as well as teach curriculum in accordance with our high academic standards for children. Candidates will provide loving guidance, attention and direction to all children in their care. The safety and well being of the children in our care is of the utmost importance. This position is ideal for college students with hours of 2-6 p.m. Monday through Friday. A morning shift is also available in our nursery on Fridays from 8:30-noon. Candidates will be subject to a criminal background check which they must pass. Drug and alcohol use or influence while working is strictly prohibited.
