Candeo is accepting applications for the position of Full-time overnight and/or weekend afternoons in Des Moines. Hours are 10p.m -7 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. This is a FT position with benefits or our weekend schedule anytime between Friday afternoon to Sunday evening based on clients' needs, able to be flexible.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications include: Requires experience with people with disabilities Ability to work with challenging behaviors Experience with mental illness required Excellent teaching and motivation skills Good communication skills at all levels, including clients, parents, and staff Ability to develop rapport with clients, parents and guardians Must have a good driving record, reliable vehicle, auto insurance, and must pass all criminal and registry background checks. All applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check including a criminal history check and checks of the Sex Offender and Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Registries. All applicants must possess a good driving record, a working vehicle and auto insurance. All applicants will be required to attend 5 consecutive, full days of training prior to working at Candeo. The trainings begin on a Monday and end on a Friday.
