Mental Health Instructors Mental Health Instructor: This person will report directly to the Habilitation Coordinator, the Instructor provides direct instruction to CANDEO clients with Mental Health disabilities. This person will support our clients to achieve their personal goals and will function independently assuring that clients receive the highest quality services possible. Direction and guidance are available from the Habilitation Coordinator as needed. Mental Health Instructors support our clients with independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, getting out into the community, and utilizing coping skills! FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, AND CASUAL OPPORTUNITITIES AVAILABLE! CANDEO OFFERS NEW HIGHER WAGES!!! $11.75-15.25/HOUR FULL-TIME BENEFITS WITH FULL-TIME Enjoy a great work-life balance with our new set schedules! Work schedules will be within AM (6am-2pm), PM (2PM-10PM), and Overnight (9pm-8:30am) shift time periods.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications include: ? Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Rehabilitation or related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred ? One year experience with Mental Health Diagnoses required ? Strong leadership skills ? Ability to encourage client to access community resources ? Excellent teaching and motivation skills ? Good communication skills at all levels, including clients, parents, and staff ? Ability to develop rapport and trust with client All applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check including a criminal history check and checks of the Sex Offender and Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Registries. All applicants must possess a good driving record, a working vehicle and auto insurance. All applicants will be required to attend 5 consecutive, full days of training prior to working at Candeo.
