Job Description:
Candeo is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to inspire our clients to achieve their personal goals. We provide community living supports to individuals with disabilities who live in their own homes and communities. We are hiring for Team Leaders in the Polk County metro area. This is a lead staff position, and offers full-time employment, a competititive salary and full benefits. The Team Leader will be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator in providing quality supports in a site where two or three clients with intellectual disabilities or mental illness live in the community. Hours vary by site, but can include days, evenings and weekends.
Job Qualifications:
We have three openings for Team Leaders with experience with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders, brain injury and hearing impairment, sign language experience preferred but not required (training available). We prefer an Associates Degree or equivalent experience. This position also requires the ability to travel in the Polk County area, a good driving record and clear background checks.
