Job Description:
• Open and close camp or center office daily from 8-5. • Answer incoming calls and route appropriately; greet and direct visitors. • Responsible for sorting and distributing mail, departmental communications and faxes. • Act as primary contact for case managers, families, & stakeholders for clients using Camp & Respite programs, including provide monthly client updates. • Assist with data tracking, customer support, and marketing for Assistive Technology Center • Responsible for completing all departmental mailings, including the yearly camp application. • Perform data entry into agency-wide database.. • Filing of client paperwork to meet program funding and accreditation guidelines. • Processing new client information including Respite registration, Camp applications, camp ships, and funding information. • Prepare program correspondence and reports, and research information as requested by program directors • Order, maintain & distribute appropriate office supplies, perform annual inventory. • Maintain organization of camp offices and listed programs. • Serve as a back up to agency phone system • Other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. • One year clerical experience preferred. Experience working with persons with disabilities preferred. • Ability to type 50 wpm. • Ability to operate a computer and navigate through Easter Seals database. Experience in word processing software; Word and Excel experience required. • Knowledge of HCBS funding sources preferred but will train. • Ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects/tasks. • Ability to work independently and organize workflow. • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. • Ability to work with team members and consumers in a professional manner, demonstrating integrity and adaptability. • Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and meet deadlines. • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
