Job Description:
The Director of Youth & Family Ministries position is designed to work closely with young families and youth from grades K-12. In this position, we want a candidate who is patient, loving and shows a genuine interest in youth while showing them how to live a Christ filled life. The Director will work with the Pastor of the Congregation and the Ministry Team to develop and facilitate an exciting ministry program for youth and family that supports the vision and mission of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Job Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree preferably with a certification in Youth & Family Ministry. Good relational skills with youth, parents, staff and community are required. The applicant will also possess basic counseling, decision making, referral skills and support services. The Director of YFM will be an advocate for youth, families, and their needs in the congregation and community A strong Christian background is important (preferably Lutheran)
