Job Description:
A growing Emergency Medicine physician group is in need of a full-time Physician Scheduler to join one of our regional teams. Qualified individuals will need to be able to perform the following job functions: Physician schedulers are responsible for arranging coverage for all open shifts in his/her region. This involves scheduling approximately 100 physicians between 9-15 facilities. Physician schedulers are responsible for keeping organized and detail records of all conversations with physicians and hospital personal. The main goal of a Physician Scheduler is to ensure 100% coverage of all contracted hospital emergency rooms. This position does require additional hours worked and it is often necessary to make calls from home after hours, in order to ensure that you have covered all contracted hours at each hospital We do offer a full benefits package and a 4-day work week.
