Job Description:
LSI seeks dedicated and energetic individuals to work as Direct Support Professionals within the Services for People with Disabilities program in Des Moines. Current openings are part-time. Current openings include days, evenings, overnights or weekends. Duties: This position will provide support, assistance, and instruction in learning independent living skills like money management, socialization, cooking, and personal hygiene to individuals with chronic mental illness or developmental disabilities.
Job Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED. Experience working with people with disabilities preferred. This position requires a valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
