Job Description:
Purfoods is currently hiring for an Accounts Receivable Billing specialist. Duties include, but are not limited to: • Submitting monthly billing of assigned clients via web based program • Importing client and billing data from sales database into accounting software • Reconciliation of remittances from assigned state or local agencies • Researching and resubmitting denied billings • Reviewing quality assurance of all referrals or updated clients from assigned state or local agencies • Making outbound and handling inbound calls, emails to assigned state or local agencies with the purpose of securing correct information regarding new referrals, updated clients and billings. • General office duties – filing, copying, faxing – as needed
Job Qualifications:
• Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Business or Accounting or related experience in a billing environment • 5 years previous work experience • Medical billing experience a plus • Previous experience with Great Plains Dynamic software a plus • Above average computer skills, focusing on Microsoft Outlook and Excel • High attention to detail • Above average ability to multi-task and set priorities
