Job Description:
Planned Parenthood of the Heartland is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the accounting department in Des Moines. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the following job duties: • Preparing reconciliations and developing an understanding for all balance sheet accounts • Preparing monthly financial statements for subsidiary and prepare analysis that explains fluctuations in balance sheet and income statement accounts • Overseeing various cash management tasks • Working with appropriate staff on recording of monthly revenues • Preparing monthly journal entries from affiliate on salaries, benefits and management fees • Preparing monthly reports for fixed assets including depreciation expense
Job Qualifications:
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree required • 3-5 years related experience preferred • CPA preferred; Sage Fund Accounting experience desired
