Job Description:
The associate business systems analyst is responsible for maintaining, analyzing and resolving application/system issues, recommending and implementing corrective and enhancement modifications to accommodate customer and business requirements. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Function) Perform day-to-day analysis and support of applications, working closely with technical analysts to research and propose solutions regarding system issues and requests initiated by business partners. Provide daily application support including verification of accuracy of system data, parameter table maintenance and communication regarding application/system problems and changes to all end users. Participate in the testing and implementation of changes according to test plans provided. Executes test plans of low to moderate complexity. Troubleshoot system problems or provide user requested reports to comply with regulatory requirements and satisfy customer requests. Provide input for application release planning. Audit the promptness and efficiencies of application related activities and recommend process improvements. Provide technical input to assist in development of project planning. Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or computer science or equivalent related work experience. (Typically six years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.) Related business work experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating environment, relational database environments and specialized analysis, design and testing tools. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
