Job Description:
The Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) is seeking an aggressive, energetic, self-starter to introduce the newest renewable fuel to convenience store owners, fuel retailers and cooperatives. The IRFA’s independent contract position involves contacting fuel retailers statewide on the benefits of adding E15 to their business and facilitating the conversion process. In addition, the individual will work with retailers and fuel distributors to expand availability of biodiesel statewide. Responsibilities: • Prospecting, cold calls, and tracking progress. • Scheduling appointments and meeting with retailers and wholesale fuel distributors. • Follow-up work as required to finish the transition to E15 and biodiesel such as completing forms and obtaining the required documents.
