Job Description:
This position is responsible for ensuring that the store's stockroom is organized, and that floorcovering orders are accurately measured, cut and ready for installer pick-up on schedule. This involves loading and unloading trucks and operating equipment in a safe manner. Prior warehouse, customer service or floorcovering experience is preferred.
Job Qualifications:
Physical Requirements: This position is required to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. or more on occasion. This position will spend approximately 10% of the day sitting, 20% standing, 35% walking and 35% stooping, climbing and kneeling. The employee must be able to measure and cut carpeting and vinyl floorcovering, operate material handling equipment, and operate a computer and communicate via the telephone. This position must be able to work all scheduled hours as needed. EDUCATION: High school diploma or GED TRAVEL REQUIRED: No RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No
