Job Description:
The Escrow Closer is a professional and customer service oriented position whose responsibilities include: • Reviewing title opinions and clearing all title objections • Ensuring all documents required to complete a mortgage transaction are properly prepared and executed, and that all of the charges associated with the transaction are collected according to contracts and agreements • Monitoring the upcoming transaction, reviewing for completeness and compliance • Assembling and recording conveyance and mortgage documentation • Conducting final closing with borrower, agents and loan originators • Ensuring all necessary information has been ordered and is accurate
Job Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have: • Previous real estate closing or mortgage processing experience is helpful • The ability to multi-task and work under, often tight, deadlines • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills • Minimum of a 2-year degree
