Our Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) provide outstanding levels of service and strive for one-call resolution with our existing LIFE INSURANCE customers. This is an INBOUND ONLY call center and we’re ONLY OPEN MON-FRI with NO EVENING HOURS. If you enjoy an environment where every day is different, quick and accurate problem resolution is the focus and doing what’s right for the customer key, then we’d like to hear from you! We are looking to hire a new class to go through 6 weeks of training together, starting on (or near) Monday, May 13th, 2013. Previous call center experience is NOT required, although experience demonstrating outstanding customer service is required. PURPOSE: · Provides customer service (mostly via phone) to inbound requests concerning products, policy features, policy changes and/or claims. · Provides support to the company’s strategic objectives of delivering the Aviva USA “Most Recommended” brand ACCOUNTABILITIES: · Receives and processes incoming telephone requests from agents, policy owners, and third parties. · Provides information or explanations of our products, along with terms and conditions of our policies · Ensures and documents (in our internal computer systems) the appropriate response to each question, which can range from the simple to moderately complex. · Processes transactions which may include – address changes, surrenders, customer portal, withdrawals, etc. · Formulates correspondence with customers through both verbal and written methods. · Takes initiative to be a solution seeker. Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: · High school degree required · College degree preferred EXPERIENCE: · 1-3 years of demonstrated success providing outstanding customer service experience is required · Ability to communicate effectively using verbal and written methods, while explaining concepts and processes to a diverse customer base is required · Willingness to learn the regulations surrounding annuity and life contracts is required · Knowledge of annuity, term, traditional, and universal life products, both qualified and non-qualified preferred · Basic ability to navigate through computer systems (internal computer systems and Microsoft office) with minimal assistance is required Aviva is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
