First American Bank is searching for an Executive Assistant for our Clive, IA branch. This person will report to the President of First American Bank. We are looking to hire a stable, precise, hard worker, who will strive to do their best on every project. Summary: Provides administrative support primarily to the loan credit department and other bank management. Responsible for warm and friendly welcoming of visitors to the second floor of the Clive bank, and for professional and efficient telephone greeting and telephone call direction. The person in this position performs important administrative functions for bank management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Bank Hospitality • Warmly greets visitors and conducts them to the appropriate area or person. Displays hospitality and embodies the First American Bank community bank persona. • Answers the main Clive telephone in a friendly and welcoming manner. Routes callers to the appropriate area of the bank, • Organizes meetings and conference room usage and equipment check-out, particularly with respect to the Clive Board Room and videoconference facility. • Tracks usage of bank vehicles and car rentals. • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations upon request. Assists bank personnel or guests with hotel and other amenity arrangements. Administrative • Prepares and distributes various informational reports. • Routes incoming mail ensuring delivery by traveling bank personnel, or by mailing to the recipient. • Composes or handles distribution and storage of routine and confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents for Commercial Banking, Special Assets, and Wealth Management. • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records. • Conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports. • Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials. • Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files. • Responsible for supply ordering, including business cards for Clive bank, printer supplies, and other materials as requested. Job Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Two year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required. Individual must be able to keyboard at least 60 words per minute. Experience should involve working directly for business executives.
