Veteran's Day Program - Monday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m.

Grand View will hold a Veteran’s Day program on Monday, November 12th, at 11:00 a.m., in front of the Humphrey Center.  This year’s program will feature choral numbers from the Grand View Choir and remarks from Grand View student and US Army veteran, Roger Fears.  A cake and punch reception will follow the program inside the Humphrey Center’s Historic Hall.

As part of this year’s program, Grand View will be participating in the Remembrance Day National Roll Call by beginning the ceremony with a moment of silence.  This moment of silence will be coordinated at more than 100 other colleges and universities around the country to collectively remember those we have lost.

We also once again will offer small American flags to those in attendance to recognize loved ones who have served or are currently serving our country in the armed forces.  Please arrive a few minutes early if you would like to plant a flag in honor of your loved one(s).

We hope you are able to join us as we recognize all those who have served our country.
