Elings Exterior

Elings Hall, located on the corner of East 9th Street and Grandview Avenue, is a two-story brick structure completed in 1968 and joined to a one-story wing completed in 1957. A renovation of the 1968 wing, made possible by alumnus Virgil Elings, took place in 2003. And in 2005 the 1957 wing underwent a significant face-lift

You’ll find the Science Courtyard, just outside the south doors of Elings Hall, an inviting spot on warm days. Students and faculty often have lunch or relax at picnic benches bordering the area.

Elings Lecture Hall

The renovated Smart classroom/lecture hall in Elings Hall is equipped with an LCD projection system containing a touch screen that allows instructors to control the computer, document camera and audio/visual system by remote control. This lecture hall accommodates about 80.

Science Greenhouse/lab

Inside you’ll find classrooms, science laboratories, lecture halls, a math/computer laboratory, a greenhouse and faculty offices.
