Stephanie Williamson's Biography

Stephanie Williamson is a band director at Clear Creek Amana High School and Middle School. She received her Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Wyoming and a Masters of Music in Music Education from the University of North Carolina. As a public educator, Stephanie was the Director of Bands at Williamsburg High School from 2015 - 2018. During her tenure at Williamsburg, her band was chosen as the class 3A Iowa Bandmasters Association Conference Honor Band in 2017. Her ensembles at Williamsburg High School and Clear Creek Amana Schools have regularly performed very well in the state of Iowa and surrounding areas. Stephanie is a two time semi-finalist for the GRAMMY Music Educator of the Year Award in 2017 and 2018 presented by the GRAMMY Foundation. Stephanie is also an active member of the Iowa Women’s Jazz Orchestra as a bass trombone player. She resides in Atkins, Iowa with daughter Sophie, husband Brad and dog Mato.
