Citizen University is taking their Civic Saturday concept on the road and coming to Des Moines on Saturday, May 5th. From 9:30-10:30, there will be a social impact fair where local organizations who are partners will be showcasing the work they are doing in civic and community engagement. Participants can hear about this work and have a cup of coffee and a donut. From 10:30-12:00, Eric Liu will be presenting this program. As part of this we will have a student poet and musician performing. If you are interested in attending and/or spreading the word, you can get tickets HERE or view the Facebook Event.
There is NO cost to attend.
