Students Present Research at NABT Conference

Grand View students Kyle Boulanger (Biochemistry, Biology) and Nicholas Little (Psychology, Biology) presented research conducted with Dr. Idit Hazan during Molecular Biology laboratory. They presented at the national conference of NABT (National Association of Biology Teachers) in San Diego, CA on Nov 10. Other participants in the research were Caden Doll, Dillon Kanne, Tabor Nunez, Rylee Voss, Kendall Antle, Bethany Bentley, Jordan Donels, Amanda Duplan and Russell Greene. Both research posters presented cloning of novel GAPC genes (involved in plant energy and metabolism) in fennel (Foeniculum Vulgare) and watercress (Nasturtium officinale).
