2020 Grand View Commencement

Grand View's 2020 Commencement was held on August 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Arena, 233 Center St., downtown Des Moines. Unfortunately, due to restraints brought by COVID-19, this year's commencement conducted a bit differently and did not have an honorary speaker and degree recipient. Although delayed until August, Grand View was able to successfully host Commencement while socially distancing and allow our graduates the chance to properly celebrate their accomplishments!

Mikayla Morris was the student speaker for 2020 Commencement. She gave a powerful personal message of setting challenging goals, overcoming obstacles and continuing to rise. Mikayla, much like all graduates of the 2020 class, proved their ability to overcome obstacles first hand and their preparedness to begin their next steps in life.
