Dancing at Lughnasa by Brian Friel
October 15, 16, 17 at 7:30 p.m.
October 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Set in a small village in Ireland in 1936, and centering around five unmarried sisters trying to eke out a living in a rapidly changing world, this vibrant and beautiful play is told through the memories of the young illegitimate son, Michael, as he paints a picture of the colorful maiden aunts who raised him. We meet them at the intersection of the festival of Lughnasa (a pagan festival which celebrates the god of the harvest with wild dancing, drinking and revelry), the return of Michael’s uncle from a 25-year mission in a Ugandan leper colony, and a visit from his errant drifter/dancer father.

Make Believe by Kristin Anna Froberg
March 3, 4, 5 at 7:30 p.m.
March 6 at 2:00 p.m.

A captivating drama that explores the dynamics of a family who has a child that has been missing for five years.  Natasha, the remaining sister, lives partly in her mind and partly in her home, which she has not left since the disappearance of her sister. When the case is suddenly re-opened, Natasha is forced to decide: Reality or imagination? Make believe or truth?

Lost and Found by Craig Petersen and Kristin Larson
April 22 at 7:00 p.m.
April 23 at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
April 24 at 2:00 p.m.

This children’s play with audience participation is wonderful for the whole family!  Georgie is a little girl who spends most of the time playing in the alley behind her apartment. You might think she’s lonely out there, but she’s got the magic of her imagination and a French pastry chef friend to keep her busy.  Things get a little wild in the alley when a lost dog needs Georgie’s help to escape the clutches of the evil dog-catcher.
