Dennis Kaven Forty-Year Retrospect
Dennis Kaven, professor of art and design, began teaching at Grand View in 1970. This exhibit will feature art that spans his 40 years at Grand View. The work from the 70s, focusing on environmental realism, was featured in galleries across the country. The more recent works are of social commentary with an emphasis on the content of the piece and its relationship to contemporary life, as well as the relationships of the elements of design in the creation of non-objective art.
