Grand View Grad Publishes Book on Success in College


Jeffery Vaske, who graduated from Grand View in 2007 with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, earning bachelor’s degrees in both nursing and history, has published A Student's Guide to Acing College: Tips, Tools, and Strategies for Academic Success.

The book, which is available from several online retailers, is a motivational and insightful guide that walks students step-by-step along the path toward academic success. It holds dozens of tips, tools, and strategies designed to help students develop the essential skills necessary to succeed in college, along with several resources unique to the college experience that can assist students in achieving top grades.

While at Grand View Jeff also participated in the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program and was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate. Following graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Army Medical Department and was on active duty for four years. He and his wife, Jeannine, currently reside in St. Louis, Missouri.
