Grand View Receives Well Workplace Award
Grand View has been awarded "The Well Workplace Award" given by the Wellness Council of America to companies and businesses that exemplify quality and excellence in worksite health promotion.
This award is driven by a pre-determined set of worksite wellness criteria (The Seven Benchmarks of Success) in which companies compete to be recognized as one of America’s Healthiest Companies. Grand View earned this award by going through the extensive application process and proving that we offer exceptional worksite health promotion to our faculty and staff. Our application was reviewed by the Wellness Council and they awarded Grand View with a Gold Status (statuses range from Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum) for our efforts in making Grand View a healthy place to work.
To advance an aggressive national worksite wellness agenda, WELCOA has developed the Well Workplace Awards initiative. Like the Malcolm Baldridge Award for Performance Excellence, the Well Workplace Awards initiative is driven by a rigorous set of criteria. Since its inception in 1991, more than 600 corporations, health care systems, public agencies and educational institutions employing over one million people have met the criteria and been recognized as some of "America's Healthiest Companies."
