Grand View Nursing Students Assist with Flu Vaccinations to the Homeless
On March 11th and March 25th, Grand View Nursing students will be collaborating with VNS (Visiting Nursing Services) and Joppa to offer flu vaccinations to the unsheltered and newly sheltered clients of the Joppa Homeless Outreach Agency.
Grand View Nursing students will be assisting at the Joppa Warehouse and VNS will be reponsible for their orientation and review of necessary skills and knowledge about the flu vaccination being provided before each team is sent out to separate distribution routes. The hope is to cover all 6 distribution routes from Joppa.
