Job Description:
Candeo is accepting applications for the position of Instructor of Brain Injury Services. Hours may vary but must be flexible and available to work nights and weekends Candeo is a growing organization whose mission is to inspire our clients to achieve their personal goals. We assist people with disabilities to live independently in their own community. Instructor of Brain Injury Services: Report directly to the Brain Injury Service Coordinator Provides direct instruction to CANDEO clients. Supports our clients to achieve their personal goals and will function independently assuring that clients receive the highest quality services possible. Direction and guidance are available from the Service Coordinator as needed.
Job Qualifications:
The Instructor of Brain Injury Services requires High school diploma or GED Experience with Mental Health Diagnoses and/or Brain Injury preferred This person must have strong leadership skills, the ability to encourage client to access community resources, excellent teaching and motivational skills, excellent communication skills at all levels: including clients, parents, and staff, and the ability to develop rapport and trust with clients. All applicants must be able to pass an extensive background check including a criminal history check and checks of the Sex Offender and Dependent Adult and Child Abuse Registries. All applicants must possess a good driving record, a working vehicle and auto insurance. All applicants will be required to attend 5 consecutive, full days of training prior to working at Candeo. The trainings begin on a Monday and end on Friday.
