Grand View would like to welcome and thank employers for showing interest in hiring Grand View students. This page will provide information about Grand View as well as resources for employers.

Thank you for your partnership! We offer many ways to partner with the Grand View University Career Center and make connections to GV faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Please consider the following collaboration options and respond per the directions below.

Engagement Day / Career Fair
We will host a Engagement Day/Career Fair in the coming months. Please respond to careers @ grandview.edu if you are interested in this event.
Employer Networking Reception
We will also host a spring Employer Networking Reception. Please respond to careers @ grandview.edu if you would like to receive an invitation to this and other career related events. 
Iowa College Recruiting Network
Iowa College Recruiting Network (ICoRN) is a consortium of Iowa’s 25 private colleges and universities whose joint mission is to connect employers with our students and future graduates for meaningful internships and employment opportunities. Grand View students participate in all ICoRN sponsored Interview Days. Check upcoming events and how to participate.
Promoting & Posting Jobs / Internships

You can promote internships directly to our internship boards. Our job search page pulls opportunities from a variety of boards (i.e. Indeed, CareerBuilder, Monster, etc). If you do not post to any of these boards directly, but have a single or occasional opening to promote, you can send an email flyer with all pertinent job information to careers @ grandview.edu.

We can also post to bulletin boards around campus, and for social media promotion, please send the position title, and hyperlink to your career page so students/alums can access the full job description on your website. Learn More
Pre-Select Interviews on Campus

Schedule a Day to Interview Grand View Students

  • Fall interviews are generally conducted in October and November.
  • Spring interviews are arranged from February through mid-April.
  • Please plan at least four weeks in advance for campus interviews 
  • Contact the Grand View Career Center at 515-263-2888 to schedule a recruiting visit.
  • The Career Center staff will publicize employer recruiting visits on our web site and campus bulletin boards.
Employer Tables

You can request to have an employer table on campus and we will help promote your presence on campus ahead of time via email and social media outlets (Facebook, Twitter). To request a date for an employer table, please send your request to careers @ grandview.edu.

Set Up an Information Table

  • Arrangements may be made for a pass-by table located in a high student traffic area of a campus building to visit with students about employment opportunities.
  • The best time to reach our students is anytime between 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Please plan at least three weeks in advance.
