Philip L. Hougen Campus Ministries Scholarship

If you’re a member of a Lutheran congregation, you may be eligible to apply for The Philip L. Hougen Campus Ministries Scholarship at Grand View.

Established in honor of former ELCA Southeast Iowa Synod Bishop Philip L. Hougen, this scholarship, awarded to two applicants from Lutheran congregations who express intention to participate regularly in Grand View campus ministry, may award you between $500 and $1,500 toward your education.  The scholarship is renewable, based on your level of participation in student ministries activities; to renew, you must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA.

Campus Ministry is an integral part of the total educational experience at Grand View.  You can get involved in a variety of ways throughout your time here.  Leadership positions, service trips, student-led worship services, and Bible-study groups are just a few of the opportunities for you to continue a life of faith and service at Grand View.

The deadline for applications is February 22. Click here for the application form.
