Questions & Answers

What makes Grand View unique among other universities?

Grand View takes pride in helping students succeed. Small class sizes allow professors to get to know students as a person and not just a number.

Professionalism and the Caring Philosophy are incorporated throughout the nursing program. All students are members of the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) and are involved in the school chapter (GVNSA), which helps reinforce professionalism in Nursing. GVNSA organizes and runs multiple events in the Grand View and greater Des Moines community each year connecting Nursing Students back to the people they will ultimately be helping in their profession.

What is your favorite part about working at Grand View?
I enjoy the small class sizes and getting to know my students. Nursing students have many opportunities to learn at the different clinical sites available in the area. I also enjoy working with the students as the faculty advisor of GVNSA.
