Job Description:
UPS can provide money for your education and a paycheck too! UPS is hiring individuals to work as part-time Package Handlers. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Part-time employees usually work 3 ½ - 4 hours. Package Handlers receive an hourly rate of $8.50 per hour with a $1.00 raise after 90 calendar days. UPS part-time employees also receive an attractive benefits package. Please note that these opportunities are part-time only working approximately 17 1/2 – 20 hours per week. Employees can expect to take home between $110.00 and $150.00 each week after deductions have been taken for taxes, etc. We have immediate openings on our Midnight shift which is Sunday through Thursday nights from approximately 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Our midnight sort offers tuition reimbursement as well!
Job Qualifications:
You must be able to lift up to 70 pounds by yourself. Other essential job functions will be reviewed during the interview process.
