Job Description:: Concordia University Texas is accepting applications for the Center Dean position for the University’s program in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. This is an administrative position with a minimal teaching requirement and the successful candidate will be appointed to faculty rank appropriate to the credentials and experience. The position is responsible for managing the Center operational and academic activities. The Center Dean directs scheduling, registration and advising activities necessary to support students and effectively and efficiently implement curriculum and academic policies in direct collaboration with the College Deans. Responsibilities further include enrollment planning and the supervision of faculty and staff. The Center Dean reports to the Vice Provost of Remote Operations and is supported by a large team of professionals in Austin.

Job Qualifications:: Education, Experience and Abilities Required: •a Master’s degree in relevant field to Concordia’s programs required, preference will be given to terminal degree, particularly in the disciplines related to business and education. •a minimum of five (5) years experience in higher education, including demonstrated successful teaching at the college level and at least three (3) years in higher education administration in some formal capacity. •successful supervisory experience, the ability to proficiently use available technology, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. •the ability to promote Concordia University Texas in professional, business, and academic environments.
