Job Description:
The Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau, parent organization of the Des Moines Area Sports Commission, has an immediate opening for a Strategic Sales Manager. This person will help market Greater Des Moines area hotels, meeting/event facilities and attractions to meeting and sports planners throughout the country. They will manage a client base of local, state, regional and national organizations, identifying opportunities for the Des Moines area.
Job Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should be goal driven, energetic, outgoing and creative with a sales or marketing background. Strategic Sales manager must be available to travel three to five days each month and work nights and weekends on occasion. Bachelor's degree and three years experience a plus.
