Spring Semester Update

January 29, 2021

We are excited to continue in-person classes and welcoming students on campus. Grand View will continue to work hard in monitoring the COVID-19 situation and making the health and safety of our students and campus community a top priority. We have learned a lot about HyFlex in practice this fall. We surveyed students, we polled faculty members, we examined class attendance patterns, we analyzed mid-semester grades, we studied progress reports, and we did a lot of listening to individual students and instructors. In response to the research, Grand View has introduced new student tools for the spring semester.

Grand View is excited to launch CircleIn, a web and mobile app that students can use to earn rewards while studying and staying productive. With CircleIn, students are automatically connected with their classmates. They can share notes, ask questions, and study together. More information.

Grand View has also partnered with Parker Dewey, the pioneer in Micro-Internships, which offers a platform for these projects that can be posted in a matter of minutes. Micro-Internships are paid, professional projects that generally require from 5-40 hours of work by the student and can be completed remotely. More information.
