Catherine Homard Selected for Leadership for Academic Nursing Program

June 20, 2018

Following a competitive review process, the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is pleased to announce that Dr. Catherine Homard, Grand View Associate Professor of Nursing and Nursing Department Chair, has been selected to participate in the 2018 Leadership for Academic Nursing Program (LANP), which will be held July 29-August 2 in Chaska, Minnesota. 49  nursing faculty from across the nation were selected.

LANP is designed for those who have experience in academic administration and aspire to more senior administrative or executive positions within the nursing academic unit. The year-long fellowship provides participants with a focused assessment experience, a range of content and exercises related to successful executive leadership, and the opportunity to establish a peer network that fosters long-term partnerships and collegial support.

Program participants come from 25 states and represent an array of institution types, including small liberal arts programs, public and private schools, and large academic health centers.
