Jo is married with three grown children. In a past life, she was an elementary teacher in Minnesota and was a special education teacher in various school districts throughout Iowa. Today, Jo is an Assistant Professor of Education teaching Special Education courses at Grand View University.

What is your favorite part about working at Grand View?
My favorite part about working at Grand View would have to be the students that are pursuing their Strategist I Endorsement. I love seeing the next generation of Special Education teachers raising to the challenge with such passion and love for their future students.
