- Grand View Finishes Second in Inaugural Midwest Esports Conference Tournament

Grand View Varsity League of Legends took home $2,500 dollars for their second place finish in the Midwest Esports Conference tournament powered by Midwest eSports and hosted by Grand View University Esports. Seven universities traveled to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in a two day, double elimination, best of 3 series. Grand View fell to Robert Morris University in the finals.

These teams will play in three FALL LAN events followed by a spring conference schedule.

- Grand View University Esports was happy to be the location host of Midwest Esports Festival Des Moines! Grand View Varsity League of Legends competed over the two day event period of November 2-3, 2019! This event took place in the Grand View University Student Center. For a recap, click here.

- Grand View Varsity League of Legends has been selected to compete in HUEFEST 2019 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, September 19—22, 2019. Collegiate teams from across the country will gather at Harrisburg University to compete for $25,000. A schedule of events can be found at https://hueinvitational.com/. - Grand View Varsity Overwatch has been selected to compete in the Tespa Varsity Pre-Season Invitational during Fall 2019. A complete schedule will be released in the next week. First game is set for September  Sept. 29th @ 5:00pm PDT and Sept. 29th @ 6:30pm PDT. Go Vikings!
