GV Caucus Photography Exhibit Gains National Attention
January 13, 2016
CBS News was on campus today to cover the photography exhibit currently in the Prairie Meadows Galleries. “First in the Nation: 40 Years of Photographs from the Iowa Caucuses,” was featured on KCCI last week and features the work of more than 30 Iowa news photographers – including three Pulitzer Prize winners – starting with the 1976 caucuses. More than 120 images cover not only the candidates, but the rich and famous supporters that make the trip to the state on the candidate’s behalf, as well as the Iowans who take their first-in-the-nation status very seriously when it comes to choosing our future presidents.
The exhibit is on display now - February 7.
