Viktor the Viking

Meet Viktor the Viking, the official mascot of Grand View University! Since debuting at a home basketball game in November 2000, Viktor has become a beloved symbol of Viking pride, energy, and tradition. In 2023, Viktor received a subtle redesign, creating the modern look fans know and love today.

Whether leading cheers at home football games or appearing at athletic events across campus, Viktor plays a major role in creating an exciting game day atmosphere for Viking fans of all ages. Viktor has also represented Grand View on the national stage at the 2021, 2024, and 2025 NAIA Football National Championships. Most recently, Viktor competed at the 2026 NCA Collegiate Mascot Championships in Daytona Beach, placing 14th in the nation and continuing to showcase the spirit and tradition of Grand View University nationally.
