Monday, September 25

LUNCH AND LEARN WITH DANISH VEJLE STUDENTS
Noon-1 p.m., Ibsen’s Valhalla, Henning Student Center

Enjoy lunch on campus while visiting students from the Vejle Business School in Denmark present about their experiences as exchange students. Meals can be purchased at the door.

LOTERIA NIGHT
Noon-1 p.m., Ibsen’s Valhalla, Henning Student Center
Attend the Multicultural Ambassador's Loteria Night, which can also be described as Spanish Bingo! Have the opportunity to win big prizes and enjoy some nice refreshments. Open to the public and free to all.

Tuesday, September 26

COFFEE WITH THE PRESIDENT
8:00 a.m., Speed Lyceum, Henning Student Center

President Rachelle Keck invites you to campus for coffee and light refreshments as she shares about her recent trip to Denmark on behalf of Grand View. She will share information about the 2024 trips that alumni and friends are invited to join when she returns to Denmark and travels to the Holy Lands.

HOMECOMING CHAPEL

Attend chapel for an uplifting Homecoming message from guest speaker President Keck.

GRAND VIEWS
4:00-5:30 p.m., Speed Lyceum, Henning Student Center
Guest speakers will present their TED Talk-inspired monologues. Talks will cover many topics making the audience laugh, reflect and maybe even be inspired to present in the future. The event is open to the public and free to attend.

IOWA VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION SERVICES PANEL
6-7 p.m., Speed Lyceum, Henning Student Center
Join the Multicultural Ambassadors and representatives from the Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Services for a panel in honor of Deaf Awareness Month! This event is open to the public and free to attend.

Wednesday, September 27

LYKKE CENTER DEDICATION
7:30 p.m., Luther Memorial Church
Meaning happiness in Danish, the Lykke Center is the newest space at Luther Memorial Church, thanks to the generosity of Kurt ’88 and Lynette Rasmussen. All are invited to this celebratory dedication. RSVP here.

A gathering for spirited singing of sacred songs and more. Free local brew and root beer on tap. This family-friendly event is hosted by Campus Ministry and Luther Memorial Church. Bring your voice, your I.D., and your friends!

NEW STRATEGIC PLAN UPDATE
2:00–3:00 p.m., Speed Lyceum, Henning Student Center

Learn about the updated strategic plan that will guide Grand View in coming months and years under President Keck’s leadership. Light refreshments will be served during this presentation followed by a Q&A session.

SONG FEST
3:00-4:00 p.m., Cowles Center, Room 131

Join the Grand View choir for a singing of traditional Grand View songs that span the decades of GV history.

WRESTLING ANNUAL ALUMNI PRACTICE
4:00 p.m., Viking Event Center

Wrestling alumni and families are invited back to the mats to watch or take part in practice.

CHEER & DANCE CLINIC
4:00 p.m., Johnson Wellness Center
The Grand View cheer and dance programs invite children currently in kindergarten - fifth grade to participate in a Homecoming cheer and dance clinic. The clinic will be taught by GV's head coach and student-athletes. $40 registration includes instruction, interaction with collegiate student-athletes, a snack and a clinic t-shirt. Register here.

Free family fun for all ages at this outdoor festival. Live music, food trucks, children's activities, and cash bar. *Alternate location TBD in event of inclement weather.
