Welcome Weekend 2026

Meet, mingle and get to know the Grand View community before classes begin August 24! You'll have the opportunity to get together with other students and get acquainted with the campus over the weekend. There are a number of sessions that are required for new students - check the full schedule below. More fun events are scheduled throughout the first week of classes. As you attend events, you'll be eligible for lots of fun prizes!

Welcome Weekend Schedule (August 21-23)

Fall Athletes

We are excited to welcome back our fall athletes! Athletes will move-in, meet fellow teammates and get familiarized with Grand View University. Remember to check myGVU for your move in date if you are a fall athlete.

Athlete Orientation Schedule (August 7)

• Health Form: A copy of your immunization record, insurance card and completed health form are required for all residential, international, and nursing students. Access health form and the tb questionnaire, complete and use QR code to upload documents to Medicat.
• Physical & Health History Form: Athletes must submit the physical copy of the form to an athletic trainer during mov-in day.
