Grand View University’s Kristin Larson, chair and professor of theatre arts and speech, will appear this May in The Roommate, part of the inaugural local theatre production season at The Ingersoll.
The Roommate, written by playwright Jen Silverman, tells the story of Sharon, a woman looking for a fresh start, and Robyn, a mysterious new roommate with a fearless outlook and a complicated past. What begins as an unlikely living arrangement quickly transforms into a darkly funny and suspenseful story about reinvention, friendship, and second chances. The production is directed by Maxwell Schaeffer.
Larson will star as Robyn alongside award-winning Iowa actor Kellie Kramer, who plays Sharon. Performances will run May 14–17 and May 28–31 for a limited engagement of ten performances at The Ingersoll. Dinner seating begins two hours before showtime, creating a full dinner theatre experience for guests. Learn more and purchase tickets here.
