Grand View University Athletic Training Program Celebrates 100% First-Time Pass Rate on Board of Certification Exam

May 4, 2026

Grand View University is proud to announce that 100% of the Class of 2026 in the Athletic Training program passed the Board of Certification (BOC) exam on their first attempt, marking a major milestone for both the students and the program.

The BOC exam is the national certification exam required for athletic trainers to enter professional practice. Achieving a 100% first-time pass rate reflects the students’ dedication, the strength of Grand View’s curriculum, and the support provided by faculty throughout the program.

From hands-on clinical experiences to comprehensive exam preparation, Grand View’s Athletic Training program is designed to prepare students for success both in the classroom and in the field. Faculty work closely with students to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in their careers.

“We are proud to share that 100% of our Class of 2026 passed the Board of Certification exam on their first attempt,” said Dr. Jessica R. Edler Nye, Master of Science in Athletic Training Program Director. “This achievement reflects the strength of our curriculum, the dedication of our faculty, and most importantly, the hard work and commitment of our students. We couldn’t be prouder of this group and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in the field.”

As these graduates begin the next chapter of their professional journeys, they carry with them the skills, experience, and passion to make a lasting impact in athletic training.
