Admissions Ambassador Application

Job responsibilities include:

  • Provide campus tours and work Admissions-related events (i.e Visit Days, Student Panels, Scholarship days, Athletic visit days, etc)
  • Perform office-related duties for the Admissions Office (i.e managing the front desk, answering phone calls, emails, text messages, filing, printing, checking families into visits, managing schedules, etc)
  • Present a positive image of Grand View University by acting and dressing in a professional manner
  • Maintain open and direct communication with fellow tour guides and admissions staff
  • Adhere to weekly work study hours and communicate effectively when there is a change in schedule
  • Uphold confidentiality agreements while on tours and in the office

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work with groups and individuals with diverse backgrounds
  • Must be reliable and responsible
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
  • Must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Respect confidentiality of student records
  • Represent a positive image of a Grand View University Student
